Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated RF Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to work in a hands-on laboratory environment on a variety of technical projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5-10 years of experience in RF communications or RF Test
Must have hands-on RF equipment experience with vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators and oscilloscopes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE FAMILIARITY WITH SOME OR ALL THE FOLLOWING:
Experience with Software Defined Radio is a definite plus
A Master’s Degree in wireless communications or electromagnetic field theory is a plus
Communications theory, digital wireless communications systems, GPS/GNSS, 5G, OFDM, MIMO
Antenna design and modeling
Experience with CST Microwave Studio or similar EM Simulation software
Spread spectrum techniques and concepts
Additional years of experience is a plus
REQUIRES ABILITY TO:
Obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance or Secret Clearance with PR within 5 years
Some travel may be required depending on project requirements
Work well in a small, fast-paced and mission-driven environment with co-workers, management, and client
Demonstrate innovation, quick learning, excellent communication skills and adaptive thinking
Work independently with minimal supervision, and to make rational decisions, and to exercise good judgment is essential
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office, Lab, and field environment.
