JOB DESCRIPTION:
Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Research Scientist with 5+ years of experience of software and Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) simulation and software/firmware development.
Duties Include:
Software and HWIL Simulation development and data analysis
Improve algorithm development workflow
Software/Firmware development with Infrared image-based tracking
Data analysis with deep learning convolutional neural net for predictive modeling
Work with customers and other engineers
Perform other duties as assigned or required
Requirements:
Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Software or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in software and Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) simulation and software/firmware development.
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with some or all of the following:
Additional years of related experience
Master’s Degree or higher in Electrical, Computer Engineering/Science, Physics, or related field
Requires ability to:
Obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance or Secret Clearance with PR within 5 years
Some travel may be required depending on project requirements
Work well in a fast-paced and mission-driven environment with co-workers, management, and client
Demonstrate innovation, quick learning, excellent communication skills and adaptive thinking
Work independently with minimal supervision, and to make rational decisions, and to exercise good judgment is essential
Work Environment
Office, Lab, and field environment
This position is expected to be performed only in the state of Alabama.
