Air Force awards $2.5 million contract to
Huntsville software developer

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Invariant Corporation has been awarded
a $2.5 million contract with The Department of the Air Force and
the Air Force Research Lab at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., for “Arthropod
Vision-Based Systems Modeling.”
Invariant will provide a modeling tool for sensors based on the
compound eyes of arthropods (insects). The five-year contract includes
research and development of an arthropod vision modeling and simulation
tool.
“We look forward to working with Eglin Air Force Base and the Air Force
Research Lab on this project,” said Invariant’s President and Co-Founder
David Anderson. “Our emphasis is on delivering quality products to our
customer and using our experience in modeling and simulation to achieve this
goal.”

Invariant moves into new office facilities
Invariant now occupies a new office location. We have moved from
an 1800 sq. ft. facility on Bailey Cove Rd. to a 5200 sq. ft. facility
at 4035
Chris Drive.

Awarded 2-year contract for SBIR Phase II
Invariant Corporation has been awarded a 2-year contract, valued
at $730k, for SBIR Phase II: Infrared Seeker Performance Metrics.
This effort was completed in January of 2007, with Dynetics Incorporation
acting as subcontractor.
